Childhood Innovation: Flintstone’s Car
Greetings: Hello everyone!
Teach: How to be resourceful with the materials in your environment
Created: Impression of Flintstone’s Car as a childhood innovation
Background: As a child
-bored/the older kids weren’t around as much
-find creative ways to entertain myself
-when they did come around
-used juice boxes into toy trucks among other things
Transition: Just for you guys, I was able to put together a power point to illustrate how to build my Flintstone Car

Part 2: Explaining what I did
- Design the car + laser cut the pieces needed
-Regular scenario use cardboard boxes, ruler, a pencil
- Create the hood of the car + glue them together
- Create the bottom part of the car (go back to previous slide)
-Pipe cleaners though holes
-Bottle covers have holes + put them on
-Glued puff balls to add surface area
-Apply glue to connect the pieces together
- Glue the windows in
-Put the straws on + glue back straws in
-Glue the popsicle sticks + use heavy item to hold it down
- Glue the doors (slid in doors)
- Bend the front straws (90-degree angle), cover the roof with colored paper to hold straws down efficiently with glue.
- Decorate to whatever degree you’d like

Closing: Although I might not have had a childhood like most kids, this skill has helped me cherish the finer things in life.
